Really good Breakfast and Cute Atmosphere

Giovanni was friendly and offered plenty of helpful information. The room was spacious and clean, and the feature that blew me away was breakfast-a good spread of fresh fruit, delicious eggs, and even little baked donuts that are just a must-try! The location is nice and quiet, though a couple of hooks in the bathroom would have was nice.

Beautifully kept place, great for weekend. A wide range of goodies for breakfast. Location near to a very cozy beach with a lot of locals and plenty of restaurants to choose from, nicer areas like Bayaibe and possibly sketchy area.

The location was magnificent, for example, Playa Caleta Public Bath was not too far from the hotel. We got a room with bathtubs.

The staff was super helpful, especially Giovanni. He organized our day trips flawlessly. One day, we checked out the cigar factory and the fine Higuey cathedral. The breakfast was quite filling and homemade. I loved lounging on the balcony in the early morning. The atmosphere was peaceful. One downside was the beach nearby. It was just a 7-minute walk but not the best beach I've seen in the Dominican Republic. Plus, there were some safety concerns walking outside after dark, a bit unsettling. Dining options at the beach weren't recommended, and the good restaurants needed a 10-minute cab ride.

Air conditioned rooms and hypoallergenic pillows. Spotless bathroom, extremely comfy bed.

Excellent location right by possibly sketchy area and Close to airport terminal and a very cozy beach with a lot of locals and plenty of restaurants to choose from, and EXCELLENT service. Also, free to ask everything.

My journey from doubt to delight

The warm greetings from the staff made me feel at home right away and the breakfast was a nice feast, filled with delicious homemade pastries and fresh fruit.

Hotel El Dorado provides really good service and a cozy atmosphere. The nearby beach lacks appeal, however.

Clean rooms offer comfortable beds. Short, safe walk to the beach lets you mingle with locals without much hassle.

Gated hotel limits exploration. Don't expect a full-service restaurant as meals are limited to takeout pizza after 6 PM. Check-in was rushed, leaving us confused about beverage policies and the process to order food.

The cozy vibes, cool shower, and poolside cocktails. Plus, the authentic lasagna was divine.

I had an awesome time here, especially enjoying the delicious breakfast spread and the beautiful bathroom with two sinks! The outdoor pool and well-kept garden were perfect spots to unwind. A heads up, though, the check-in felt a bit rushed, so just ask for any info you need while settling in. 😊

The Beautiful Queen Room was really spacious and super clean. The bed was comfortable, giving me a good night's sleep. The bathroom was nice and had a good shower with strong pressure. Plus, I loved the beautiful modern decor. No complaints here!
